Where did the time go. 2010 was a very difficult year for Bill and me. We got Mother moved into her assisted living facility, a really beautiful place. We thought she would love it there with other people of her generation but it didn't make her very happy. Then Pati leased her place in NH and decided to move here to Chesapeake, VA. On Christmas Eve day she pulls up in a 27 foot UHAUL and it ended up Bill, Randy, Donna, Jessie and I unloaded tons of dirty boxes into the apartment. The truck still was about 1/3 full so after Christmas we unloaded the rest into a storage unit. 2011 is going to be the year Bill and I take care of us first, or at least that is what I want.
Now onto some sewing news. 25 Weeks has a "Stash Buster" challenge going on and I have the first 2 blocks completed. I was pleasantly surprised with them. Normally I am very uptight and have to plan out my block fabrics. This is completely random.
Today I worked on an ITH Crazy Quilt block from Sanity Crafts, I think the colors are great. This is a free monthly project. I'm not too sure what size the quilt will be, I guess anything from a table runner to a full sized quilt is possible. The picture came out a little dark.
